Air you can trust.
Dust and debris collect out of sight.
Every duct run hides months of buildup behind the register, circulating through every room unnoticed.
Every duct run hides months of buildup behind the register, circulating through every room unnoticed.
Six things to check. Two of them are worth acting on sooner rather than later.
A grey film on ceilings, walls, or furniture near registers — even after you dust — usually means the ducts are shedding what they've collected.
If the air smells off when the furnace or AC kicks in, that's the ducts pushing old air back into the room. It won't clear on its own.
Symptoms that follow you inside — sneezing, itchy eyes, a scratchy throat — point at what the system is circulating, not just what's outside.
Pop a register off and shine a light. A thin film of dust is normal. Clumps, hair, or anything that casts a shadow means it's time.
One room blows strong, another barely moves. Restricted runs from buildup are a common cause — and one of the easy ones to fix.
Drywall dust, sawdust, and construction debris travel far. If you've renovated or just moved in, a cleaning is cheap insurance.
Not sure? We'll do a free visual check on any service call — no pressure, no upsell.
Three services. Booked as a bundle or on their own.
Every supply and return run, plus the trunk lines and plenum. Negative-pressure vacuum, agitation brush, and a final visual check.
Registers, grilles, and diffusers pulled, washed, and reinstalled. The visible surfaces — cleaned properly, not just wiped down.
Lint buildup is the leading cause of dryer fires. We clear the full run, verify airflow, and check the exterior flapper while we're up there.
Ductwork collects a mix of particles over time — some you can see, most you can't. Here's what typically accumulates, and the signs it's worth a clean.
Most homes go three to five years between cleanings. Here's when it starts to matter.
When the system kicks on and you can see dust blowing out of a register, the ducts are the source.
A damp odour when heat or AC starts usually means debris sitting in the ductwork.
Drywall dust and construction debris get pulled into returns and settle throughout the system.
If symptoms get worse at home, contaminants in the ducts are one of the first places to look.
Straight answers, no runaround. If yours isn't here, call us — we answer the phone.
Most homes do well with a cleaning every 3–5 years. If you have pets, allergies, a recent renovation, or you burn wood in winter, every 2–3 years is more realistic. If nobody in the house has symptoms and you've never had major work done, you can often stretch to 5–7. The honest answer: it depends on the home, not on a sales pitch.
Sometimes — but not by a dramatic amount, and anyone promising "30% off your bill" is selling, not measuring. When ducts are heavily restricted, clearing them restores airflow and can shave a few percent off runtime. The bigger wins are air quality, fewer dust-related allergy symptoms, and longer equipment life. We'll tell you honestly if a cleaning isn't likely to make a measurable difference in your home.
A typical 2,000 sq ft home takes 3–4 hours with two technicians. That includes setup, the full cleaning of supply and return runs, register removal and wash, and a walkthrough at the end. Bigger homes, multiple systems, or heavy buildup can push it to a full day. We'll give you a time window when you book.
Yes. We use negative-pressure containment — the vacuum pulls debris out of the system, not into the room — and HEPA filtration on the exhaust. Kids and pets can stay in the house; we just ask that they avoid the immediate work area while hoses are running. If anyone in the home has severe respiratory conditions, tell us when you book and we'll add extra containment.
Three honest signals: visible dust blowing out of registers after the system runs, a musty smell when the furnace or AC kicks in, or a recent renovation that sent drywall dust through the house. If none of those apply, and you don't have allergies or pets, you can probably wait. We'll tell you straight — if a cleaning isn't warranted, we'd rather say so than take the job.
